This guide will serve as a reference document for stakeholders at all levels for optimal management of epidemiological surveillance data in routine and emergencies. The second chapter covers the general aspects of data management, i.e. data governance and the components of data management, in particular data collection, data transmission circuit, analysis, archiving, quality and use. The third chapter addresses these components according to certain scopes, as presented later in the document. This guide also includes Standard Operating Procedures for the optimal implementation of data management activities.
