ABSTRACT Breast cancer has been documented since ancient times, but the first detailed clinical descriptions of breast tumors date back to ancient Egypt, around 1600 BC. However, modern understanding of breast cancer and its association with cancer cells only emerged much later, in the 18th and 19th centuries. Significant progress in understanding the disease and its treatment has been made during the 20th century. In Cameroon, the first cases of breast cancer were identified well before 2020. Monkey Pox Outbreak Situation Report south west.Cameroun.2022
On the 5th of October 2022, the disease surveillance focal point of the Presbyterian Hospital alerted the district of a suspected monkey pox case received at the hospital. This patient was immediately referred to the Kumba Regional Hospital annex where the district surveillance team descended to carry out preliminary investigation. Laboratory specimens were collected on the 6th October and sent to CPC Yaounde where it was confirmed positive for monkey pox virus on the 8th of October 2022

National COVID19 resurgence plan.Uganda.2021-2022
This resurgence plan has been developed through a consultative process and builds on lessons learnt in implemnetation of the response efforts through the COVID 19 Preparedness and Response Plan March 2020 - June 2021. The plan provides a basis for resonse to the COVID 19 pandemic with a goal of integrating response activities into on-going health system strengthening efforts. It takes into account the changes in epidemiology of the pandemic inclusive of emergence of variants of SARS-COV2.

Manuel SOP gestion des produits pharmaceutiques.Cameroun.2024
Pour encadrer la gestion et l'utilisation des produits pharmaceutiques, le Manuel de Procédures Opérationnelles Standards (POS) a été élaboré en 2014. Sa faible diffusion a conduit à l'utilisation d'une pléthore d'outils, parfois incohérents. Ce qui a engendré entre autres les ruptures de stocks, des quantification peu efficaces avec des faiblesses notoires dans le circuit d'informations logistiques. Lors de sa révision en 2023, de nouvelles procédures ont été ajoutées en rapport avec la surveillance des niveaux de stock et la notification des évènements indésirables.
