Central Africa Regional Advocacy Workshop Report On Cross Border Surveillance Information Sharing.Cameroon.2025
The official opening of this Regional Workshop for Experts from the nine countries of the region (Equatorial Guinea was absent) was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of Cameroon, representing the Minister who was unable to attend, alongside representatives from Africa CDC, IOM, OCEAC, and ECCAS. He thanked Africa CDC for the initiative and for choosing his country to host the event, before wishing the meeting every success. Attendees included national experts on surveillance, PoEs, and RCCE from Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, CAR, Gabon, DRC, Sao Tome and Principe, and Chad.

RESUME L’année 2021 a débuté à l’Hôpital Central de Yaoundé dans un contexte sanitaire marqué par la pandémie du COVID-19 qui n’a cessé de croitre avec son corolaire, la modification des comportements et partant, la réduction de la fréquentation des structures sanitaires. Malgré tout, le dispositif mis en place par la hiérarchie a permis de maitriser la situation et de maintenir le cap.
