At the heart of the current digital and medical evolution, the early detection of eye diseases holds crucial significance in preserving visual health. This study aligns with this perspective by proposing the design of an innovative application, built upon advances in artificial intelligence based on deep learning. Our objective is to merge medical expertise with AI capabilities to craft an advanced and efficient diagnostic tool.Through thorough research, we compiled a comprehensive database encompassing a variety of ocular images, representing a wide spectrum of eye conditions. Leveraging this dataset, we trained a deep learning model across various architectures, enabling the system…

The counterfeiting of banknotes is an age-old criminal activity, but modern counterfeiting techniques have made detecting fake banknotes more complex. To address this issue, advanced detection methods, such as the use of deep learning, have been developed. In our study, we explored the application of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) to authenticate banknotes. CNNs are particularly effective for image classification tasks, making them suitable for analyzing the visual characteristics of banknotes. We compiled a dataset comprising images of both genuine and counterfeit banknotes. A CNN model was then trained to identify the distinctive features of authentic banknotes compared to counterfeit ones.…

Mémoires sur l'Utilisation de l'intelligence artificielle pour la détection des fraudes bancaire.KEYCE.Cameroun.2023

With the increase in online transactions since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of e-commerce, fraud in online transactions has become a major concern in the fintech industry. According to various estimates, global losses due to online fraud are projected to reach $6 billion by 2025. This demonstrates the magnitude of the problem faced by financial institutions and users, as the mechanisms used by fraudsters, such as identity theft and the creation of fake websites, are becoming increasingly difficult to detect by traditional detection systems. In this research work, we propose an approach based on the application…

In the current context of digital and medical revolution, this study aims to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) to improve early detection and monitoring of hypertension (HTA) in Cameroon. Carried out at the Directorate of Disease Control, Epidemics and Pandemics (DLCMEP) of the Ministry of Public Health, the project aims to design an intelligent chatbot using the advances of deep learning and machine learning. The objective is to combine local medical expertise with the capabilities of AI to develop an advanced and effective diagnostic and monitoring tool. The results obtained during the testing and validation phases are promising, showing a significant improvement…

Mémoire sur la Détection des maladies des cultures agricoles.KEYCE.Cameroun.2023

Cameroon, as a country with a great diversity of crops and agriculture, faces major challenges due to diseases that affect plants. These diseases can cause considerable economic losses for farmers and have a significant impact on the country's food security. According to recent statistics, plant diseases are responsible for a significant reduction in agricultural yields in Cameroon, causing crop losses of up to 30% in some key agricultural sectors. The most affected crops include maize, rice, cassava and vegetables, which are essential components of the Cameroonian population's diet. This study presents a methodology for classifying plant diseases based on a…

Mémoire sur la Détection du cancer du sein.KEYCE.Cameroun.2023

Date de publication: 2023

ABSTRACT Breast cancer has been documented since ancient times, but the first detailed clinical descriptions of breast tumors date back to ancient Egypt, around 1600 BC. However, modern understanding of breast cancer and its association with cancer cells only emerged much later, in the 18th and 19th centuries. Significant progress in understanding the disease and its treatment has been made during the 20th century. In Cameroon, the first cases of breast cancer were identified well before 2020. Breast cancer is one of the leading oncological pathologies affecting women worldwide. Over time, the number of cases has continued to increase. According…

Mémoire sur la Conception d'une IA Conversationnelle.KEYCE.Cameroun.2023

The digital revolution is upsetting the economic balance and impacting the lives of consumers and organizations alike. Conversational robots used to be virtual assistants such as Siri, released in October 2011, which could help users perform online searches, respond to voice commands, play music and more. But over time, especially after 2015, conversational Artificial Intelligence developed at a rapid pace and companies like Uber, Airbnb, Slack, Shopify etc, started using chatbots (and Voice bots) powered by Artificial Intelligence for various use cases in different job functions - from sales to operations to support. In this work, our first objective is…
